A devoted sibling is holding a football match to raise money for a charity that helps bereaved families deal with the loss of a baby.
Mike Edwards, 28, of St Stephens Road, Cold Norton, is organising a charity football match and family fun day to raise money for the Lullaby Trust.
He has persuaded a squad of 20 ex-Southend United players to take part.
The charity helped his family when Mike’s older brother, Terry, died at four weeks old.
Mike said: “This year it would have been Terry’s 30th birthday and the whole family are raising money in different ways for the Lullaby Trust."
The event is at Burnham Ramblers Football Club, Leslie Field Stadium, Springfield Road, Burnham, CM08TE.
Entry costs £5 for adults and children go free, gates open at 11am and kick-off is 12.30.
