A stay-at-home mum is proving life is not just housework and watching Jeremy Kyle with her successful parenting blog.
Rachel Lote, 24, who hails from Winstree Road in Burnham, started posting on her blog, named Candyflosscloud, in October 2013.
Since then, Miss Lote, who is mum to 23-month-old David Lote-Smith, posts weekly articles and sees a regular stream of 1,000 visitors to the blog each month.
Mums even contact her for parenting tips and advice.
The blog has even meant she has been given products, such as jacket potatoes, nappies and butter, to review for free and has been invited to special launches and festivals.
Miss Lote, a former St Peter’s High School pupil who now lives in South Woodham Ferrers, said: “I think I started the blog more to get things off my chest at first, it was a way to escape and relax."
