A 32-year-old man has been charged with stealing from museums in Essex and London by Essex Police.
Daniel Johnson, 32, of Canfield Road, Takeley, has been charged with theft from the Maldon Combined Services Museum, Station Road.
Johnson has also been charged with burglary and theft at Stansted Mountfitchet Castle, theft at Harlow Museum and theft at the Clink Museum in Southwark, London.
All offences happened in March.
Johnson has been released on bail and will appear at Colchester Magistrates Court on May 7.
