A hospice has reopened eight months after it was severely flooded.
Farleigh Hospice’s building at the Bentalls complex in Colchester Road, Heybridge, was flooded during the August bank holiday.
It re-opened yesterday after a complete refurbishment, including redecorated lounge and clinical areas, a new kitchen.
It also has a wishlist for linen storage cupboards, a sun canopy for the lounge area and a porch covering for the front door.
