A schoolboy who has beaten cancer twice is coming home from hospital.
Seven-year-old Laughlin Whiteley, known as Lockey, will return to his home in Mildmay Road, Burnham, tomorrow after spending six weeks in isolation at London’s Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Last week, his family found out that his bone marrow was cancer-free, four weeks after he underwent a stem cell transplant.
Lockey’s mum Andrea Poyser, 43, was originally told that the procedure and hospital stay may take up to six months.
She said: “I am over the moon and jumping for joy."
