Commuters will no longer have to see boring, boarded up windows at their train station.

Children’s artwork will soon brighten Burnham Station, where the windows were removed due to vandalism at least four years ago.

Organisers of Burnham Art Trail launched an art competition, which closes on March 28, to find winning designs.

It is part of the celebration of the 125th anniversary of the Crouch Railway Line and will coincide with the Burnham Art Trail 2014.
