A dog walker who broke his ankle on a seawall has thanked six people who came to his aid.
Bill Glass, 73, had taken rescue greyhound Ronnie for a walk when he slipped near Wick Farm, Burnham.
He had forgotten his mobile phone and was sat on the ground “in the middle of nowhere” for about 15 minutes before a woman walking two large white dogs appeared.
She ran to Rice and Cole boat yard and caravan park, where three staff came over to help.
Two male joggers also carried him closer to the boatyard and took Ronnie home to wife Velma.
