Maldon’s macTheatre is bringing a host of top musicians to Maldon this spring.
Folk icon Dave Swarbrick will be at the Blue Boar Hotel on April 13.
His part in Fairport Convention and resulting contribution to folk and folk/rock music is legendary creating the most influential folk album of all time, Liege and Lief.
The Urban Folk Quartet return to Maldon for the third year running to perform at the Town Hall on May 23.
Led by Birmingham Conservatoire composition prize winner, Joe Broughton, they are a sizzling hot ensemble mix of fiddle-led music.
And Georgia-born Brooks Williams will be at the Blue Boar Hotel on May 31, walking the line between Blues and Americana.
