Can you save Hamilton’s bacon?
Mum-of-two Kelly Coombs, who lives off Tillingham Road in Southminster, is appealing for help in rehoming her pet pig or it could face the chop.
She has had three-year-old Hamilton since May last year but is unable to keep him because his over-friendly nature means he is a health and safety risk to her two young children, Charlie and Toby, aged five and eight.
Mrs Coombs, 41, originally rehomed the Tamworth and wild boar crossbreed from a family who believed he would be a micro-pig.
She said Hamilton - Ham for short - now weighs around 15st and reaches the height of her hips.
