The Market Hill Billies
A newly formed band will be sharing their own brand of country, blues and rock and roll with music lovers.
The Market Hill Billies are Kelvin Pratt (lead guitarist and singer), Steve Dempsy (rhythm guitar), Colin Whitiker (bass) and Chris Speilman (drums).
They recently performed at the Blue Boar Hotel in Maldon. On the same bill was Vic Collins from the Kursaal Flyers, best known for their 1976 hit single Little Does She Know.
The band’s next gigs include The Hazeleigh Oak on March 22, the Blue Boar Hotel on April 19, May 3 and June 20 and Tollesbury Yacht Club on June 21.
