An epilepsy sufferer has thanked strangers who came to his aid when he suffered a seizure on a train station platform.
Adam Smith, 23, was waiting at Burnham station for a train home to Southminster when he collapsed.
Mr Smith, a general assistant at the Fiveways Co-Op supermarket in Burnham, said he regained consciousness to find his train had arrived and at least five people surrounding him.
Mr Smith, who grazed his head, was taken by ambulance to hospital following the incident last Monday at about 8.30pm.
He offered his “heartfelt thanks” to the strangers who helped him and joked he wanted to apologise for delaying the train.
