Burnham sailors can try out a new virtual canoe challenge.
Burnham Sailing Club are offering members of the public and existing members the chance to be involved in a new kayak section.
Visitors will be able to test their skills in an indoor kayak machine and have a go at setting the fastest time of the day at an opening morning tomorrow (Saturday).
Commodore Digger Harden said: "As a club we're always looking to get people enjoying watersports on the Crouch so we were delighted when a group of local canoe enthusiasts from the Maldon and Dengie Canoe Club approached us about setting up a group in Burnham.”
The event, which takes place at the clubhouse at the end of the Quayside, will last from 9.30am to 1pm.
