Snakes, stick insects and albino hedgehogs were among species that delighted school children when the Bug Man came to visit.
Martin Rapley, an insect specialist, visited Purleigh Primary School accompanied by cockroaches and tarantulas to show to the children.
Pupil Gemma Campbell, got the chance to hold a chameleon.
She said: "Her eyes are really clever and I really enjoyed holding her.
"I wish I could take her home."
