Tools were stolen from two garages in Althorne.
Thieves got into garage in Burnham Road, Althorne, through an unlocked door between 7.30pm on February 6 and 8am the next day.
Dewalt tools were taken including a bench saw worth £600, a battery drill worth £120, an impact driver worth £100, two battery chargers costing £100, a recip saw worth £80 and four batteries worth £320 and a 240-11v transformer worth £80.
Another garage in The Endway was entered between midnight on February 7 and 11am on February 9.
The thieves damaged the door to get inside and took tools, but police had no details of what exactly was taken.
