A grandmother is urging the district council to spend money improving a town park.
Retired Nancy Crisp, 72, of Fernlea Road, Burnham, wants Maldon District Council to repair the path from her street to Riverside Park, in Millfields, as it is “impassable”.
Mrs Crisp, who is disabled, described the water-logged path as “like a riverbed”.
She said: “I often use the path to go to the park to walk my dog but it can be very difficult to get across.
“Twice I have had to give up and turn back."
