George Thorpe
A reporter is swapping his notepad for trainers for the London Marathon.
George Thorpe, of Maldon, is attempting the 26.2mile route around the capital in April for the Helen Rollason Cancer Charity.
George - who works for the Standard's sister paper, the Chelmsford Weekly News - needs to raise at least £2,000.
