A YOUNG girl with cerebral palsy can now walk unaided after family, friends and supporters raised £35,000 for a life-changing operation.
Abbey Evans, six, of Nipsells Chase, Mayland, can walk a few steps independently and uses crutches instead of a walking frame at other times, which would have been impossible two years ago.
Just over a year ago, her life-changing operation looked in danger as Abbey's family struggled to raise the £35,000 needed to pay for it.
