A driver has called for urgent repairs to a village pothole after six cars were damaged in one morning.
Corinne Jaques of Little Totham burst a tyre on her Vauxhall Zafira on Monday.
While Mrs Jaques, 37, had stopped further up New Road, Messing, to inspect the damage a further three cars suffered the same fate.
She later learnt another two cars had been affected.
Essex County Council plans to make full repairs in the next four to six weeks.
Emergency temporary repairs have been carried out in the meantime.
