Has your pooch got what it takes to be a canine stuntdog?

If so, the Essex Dog Display Team want to hear from you.

Jennifer Gale, from Southminster is one of their ten volunteers and joined the team in January last year with her dog Dexter, a 21-month-old rottweiler and border collie cross.

She said: "As he is a big breed, he is still growing and developing his muscles so we were very cautious not to allow him to jump too much so as not to put strain on these growing ligaments and to prevent injury or problems as he matures.

"Saying this, he is still part of the team and enjoys charging over the 100ft long raised ramp and jumping the four flaming hoops that are on top."
