Pampering your pooches can mean more than giving them a quick wash and trim.

Think painted nails, shiny jewels, fur shaved into wacky and wonderful structures and dogs dyed bright pink.

Creative grooming has been making waves over seas with pageants and competitions being held to judge the most elaborate designs and now the craze has exploded here in Essex.

Professional dog groomer Daniela Forshaw, from Burnham, has branched out from the basics she does so well with a range of bright and blingy dog treatments including ostrich feather hair extensions, colourings and Fur-Jazzles - adding jewels and accessories to pets to make them sparkle.

She has appeared on celebrity dog trainer Cesar Millan's show, Leader Of The Pack, and an Essex special of make over show Snog Marry Avoid with her own pink poodle, Venice.

Most recently, she took her Fur-Jazzle talents on screen with the cast of TOWIE when she was filmed grooming the cast dogs in November.

The concept that dogs enjoy this is complete and utter rubbish.

It is cruel to put a dog throught that - I wonder if she would do the same with her child???

Definitetly not cruel or it wouldn't be in the public eye! The press photographer didn't like dogs and the dog picked up on their negative energy and was giving out dirty looks!

Well if the dog was picking up on the photographers "negative energy" then it clearly should be going to training instead of the poodle parlour.

I have lots of people that dont like my dog because of his size - but he does not behave by giving out the evil eye - because he was trained properly!!!
