A teenager got baking to raise more than £300 for a pancreatic cancer charity in her uncle’s memory.
Rose Burford, 13, made and sold sweets, biscuits and cakes in the run up to Christmas for the Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund.
Her uncle Justin Hughes died two years ago from the disease.
Rose, of West Avenue, Mayland, took about 40 orders, some from people she did not even know, after word spread about her sweet treats.
Rose is encouraging people to sign a national petition calling for more funding and awareness for pancreatic cancer.
The petition is online at http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/48389
