Essex County Council gives its unwanted computers to community groups
Free computers have been given to 11 voluntary groups in the Maldon District.
Essex County Council clears data from its old computers before donating them to community groups that apply.
Those to benefit include Maldon and Dengie Stroke Club, The Cirdan Sailing Trust, Maldon Pirates Kids Club, Action for Family Carers, Hope and Encouragement for Lone Parents, Maldon and District Sea Cadets, Cold Norton and Latchingdon pre-schools, Maldon and District Community Voluntary Service, Maldon District Museum and Maldon Archaeological and Historical Group.
