Teenagers held a festive event for youngsters, the elderly and community leaders.
Ormiston Rivers Academy in Burnham held a community morning and invited guests from Warwick Court supported housing complex in Station Road and St Mary’s Primary School in Marsh Road.
Students performed music and sang, made refreshments, cakes and decorations and gave hand warmers made by Year 11 pupil Isobel Richardson to the elderly residents who attended.
Year 11 pupil Emma Welham and the Making a Difference project team organised the morning and were given £1,500 from the Ormiston Trust to pay for it.
