Burnham: Plans for studio flats behind bank set for refusal
5:00pm Sunday 13th October 2013 in News
Plans for two studio flats behind a Burnham bank have been recommended for refusal.
Threadneedle Property Investments wants to build the flats in the yard area to the rear of Natwest, in High Street.
The two one-bedroom flats would be located in a two-stoey building to the south of the site.
Maldon District Council’s south eastern area planning committee is due to run the rule over the proposals at a meeting tomorrow.
Officers have recommended the plans are refused because its size and siting would lead to an “obtrusive and overbearing impact” on neighbouring homes in Providence.
