Southminster: Everyone welcome to tennis club open day (From Maldon and Burnham Standard)

Southminster Tennis Club is holding its annual open session on Saturday.

The session will run from 2pm to 5pm and everyone is welcome.

A club spokesman said: "We are a small, friendly club situated on King George V Playing Fields, Southminster.

"We have three hard courts with floodlights.

"We have teams in the Men's, Ladies and Mixed Chelmsford League.

"We also have four club sessions each week."

"New members are welcome.

"Why not come and see if you would like to join."

Refreshments will be available and committee members on hand to tell players about the club."
