Two Maldon youngsters kept quiet all day to raise money for charity.

Kirsty Keyes and Faith Eldred-Butler staged a sponsored silence and managed to raise more than £300 for Barnardo’s.

The pair, both ten, remained tight-lipped for about 14 hours.
