Maldon district: Cold snap to continue
The district has been blasted with a cold snap not out of place in winter - and the sub-zero temperatures are set to continue.
As temperatures plummeted to below freezing at the weekend, occasional flurries of snow passed through the district, even spotted in the coastal area of St Lawrence.
The district is also unlikely to experience typical spring weather any time soon, with temperatures remaining below average for days.
