Deliveries of the wind turbines to the wind farm in Bradwell have been postponed today due to bad weather.

Lorries carrying parts of the turbines are currently parked on the A12.

A police spokesperson said: "They have got into Essex but because of concerns of the roads in the Dengie peninsular they are staying on the A12."

It is hoped deliveries will resume tomorrow.
