Thieves stole a grey Ford Fiesta from Scraley Road in Maldon last Monday.
The car, registration EY61 UAH, is valued at £12,000 and was taken between 8.30am and 5pm.
There was an unsuccessful attempt to burgle a property in Tattersalls Chase, Southminster.
The incident occurred between February 18 and 25 and while no entry was gained, there was £50 worth of damage caused to the door.
There were two attempted shed burglaries in the district at the end of last month. Thieves tried to break into a shed in Beeleigh Road, Maldon, overnight on February 24 to 25, and caused £5 damage to the door.
There was also an attempted break-in overnight between February 26 and 27 on a shed in Wantz Road, but there was no damage or costs.
