Southminster: 'Caravan theft has left me living in a dream' Southminster: 'Caravan theft has left me living in a dream'

A grandfather has felt like he was “living in a dream” since his caravan was stolen from his driveway in broad daylight.

Semi-retired Brian Blanks, 62, of Lawlinge Road, Latchingdon, was horrified to discover his Coachman Pastiche, worth around £8,000, had disappeared at around 10am on Monday.

The grandfather-of-three had stored hundreds of pounds worth of belongings in the caravan, which he used to take his family on weekends away during the summer.

The caravan held tables, chairs, a barbecue, a satellite dish, a Sky TV box, a DVD player and children’s toys as well as camping equipment.

Now, I wonder who lives in caravans?....hmmmm..
...people who've had a few branches trimmed from their family trees and sell lucky heather made out of stolen railway cable. Just a thought.
