Maldon: Mum's purse stolen while attending child
A mum's purse was stolen in a shop car park while she was putting her child into the car.
Thieves stole the woman’s purse while she was distracted in Tesco’s car park in Fullbridge at 10.20am last Tuesday.
Her purse had been left inside a shopping bag inside the shopping trolley.
Sergeant Perry Land said: “This is a reminder for people, particularly women, to keep their purse and bags secure at all times.
“Frequently people leave the purse lying in the cash till.
“People need to keep it out of sight.”
