Maylandsea: Tattooist and actor pens novel based in Maldon
A tattooist, who has scaled up Ben Nevis and acted alongside film star Ray Winstone, has embarked on his next adventure.
Terry Coker, 42, who owns the Cobra Custom Tattoo studio, in Imperial Avenue, Maylandsea, has drawn on his own extraordinary life experiences and those of whom he tattoos to pen a novel based in the Maldon District.
The father-of-two decided to write a novel when he moved to the area in 2006 and felt Maldon was the perfect place to base a crime thriller.
He said: “It involves a lot of the Dengie and the River Blackwater, with bodies getting dumped in it.
“I hope nobody thinks it’s true.
