Maldon: Flood alert for River Blackwater

A flood alert is now in place for the River Blackwater.
The Environment Agency issued the alert this morning, to warn residents along the Essex coast from Clacton to St Peters Flat, including the Rivers Colne and Blackwater Estuaries, that there is a possibility of flooding.
The forecast high water is due at 1.15pm today.
The predicted tide level is 2.39m.
