Maldon: Anger at care home closure

Residents are looking to start a petition against the closure.
Pensioners have threatened to barricade themselves in their care home after being told it is to close.
Elderly residents of Middleton Manor Care Home in Wantz Road, Maldon, are up in arms after being given just two months to vacate the building.
Forty members of staff at the home also fear for their jobs as a result.
The closure comes after Larchwood Care declared the home was no longer commercially viable.
