Planning permission has been granted for a wind farm near one district town.

UK renewable energy investor and developer, Blue Energy, have been given the green light for a 20.7MW site near Southminster.

The project is for nine on-shore turbines which will power 9,200 homes in the area.

The Dengie peninsula is being ruined by all these windfarms at Bradwell Tillingham Marshes etc. They are known to be inefficient so these projects are just to line the pockets of some useless companies. How are locals supposed to cope with the noise of turbines and shadow flicker which drives you insane.. Does anybody care NO?!
