A kind-hearted teenager has won an award for volunteering with disabled children at a riding stable.


Fraser Cummins, 14, of Orchard Drive, Mayland, has been awarded the Diana Champion Volunteer Award for his work at Barrow Farm in Chelmsford.
 

Fraser was nominated by his school, Plume School in Maldon, for both his volunteering and positive attitude in class.
 

Fraser said: “It was a really nice surprise.
“I am really happy that I won the award as I think it will open up a lot of doors for me.”
