Bradwell: Pupils excited to have new pool
Primary school pupils are excited to begin their swimming lessons after vital cash was donated to repair their pool.
St Cedd’s Primary School, in Bradwell, received a donation of £9,500 from Magnox at Bradwell Power Station, to fund essential repairs on the school swimming pool.
The pool itself was built more than 40 years ago, with the original funding being raised by parents of children at the school.
It is normally used by both pupils and members of the community, offering swimming lessons and sessions for groups such as mother and toddler clubs.
