Maldon district: Council to tackle splash park queues Maldon district: Council to tackle splash park queues

Building a new £100,000 kiosk to ease splash park queues is a priority, according to plans for council spending.

Maldon District Council hopes to have a new kiosk in place by spring next year following complaints by parents last summer.

If this project does not go ahead, the council noted in its report that it would have “failed to provide an acceptable service standard to customers using the splash park” and this would also lead to increased customer complaints over payment and queuing.

This is a joke right? 100 grand in this day and age....someone at MDC is in cloud cuckoo land, I know good people who have been laid off by MDC and this year they splurge money on this?
