Maldon district: Thieves steal belongings worth thousands from cars
Thousands of pounds worth of belongings have been stolen from vehicles in the Maldon District in the last week.
A TomTom sat nav worth £150 was stolen from a Ford Focus during the evening of January 9 from Warwick Drive in Maldon.
On the same night another TomTom sat nav worth £160 was stolen from a Kia in Butt Lane, Maldon.
In Abbotsmead in Heybridge two cans of petrol and a strimmer, worth £1,450 were stolen.
The theft from a Ford Transit pick-up van was also overnight between January 9 and 10.
Almost £3,000 worth of tools were stolen from a Volkswagen Caddy overnight between January 12 and 13 from Springfield Cottages in Heybridge.
