Maldon: Shop windows damaged
Vandals caused hundreds of pounds of damage to two Maldon shop fronts.
The window of the Salty Dogs Christmas Show exhibition in High Street was cracked on Christmas Eve, causing £200 damage.
A £500 single glazed window at Stead and Simpson, also in High Street, was smashed on December 27.
Sgt Martin White, of Maldon police, said he was unsure they were linked.
He added: “They are different days and I think the first relates to just general drunkenness, where perhaps someone has been pushed into the window.
“The other one was perhaps more intentional.”
