Police have appealed for information after three cars were damaged by vandals at Tiptree.

All of the cars were parked in Warren Lingley Way and all received damage running into hundreds of pounds when sharp objects were used to cause long scratches along the bodywork.

Two vehicles were damaged overnight between Thursday October 25 and the following morning and a third car in the same road was damaged the following evening. Two of the cars were damaged in previous similar attacks in August.

Investigating officer Pc Carly Mond said: "This mindless vandalism has been extremely upsetting for the owners of these cars, especially for the two people whose cars have been targeted twice.

"If anyone witnessed any of these incidents or have information about whoever is responsible they should contact me immediately.”

Anyone who can help should contact Pc Mond at Colchester Area Investigation Team on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
