Maldon district: Behave yourself at Halloween Maldon district: Behave yourself at Halloween

Young people have been urged to behave safely and sensibly this Halloween. Police warned they would take firm action against trouble-makers.

Inspector Chris Kilgallen, of Maldon police, said: “Halloween can be a fun night for all and we just want to ensure it’s safe for everyone.

“Halloween should not be an excuse for antisocial behaviour.

“In 2011, the only calls to police made in the Maldon and Dengie area on Halloween night related to a report of fireworks being set off in the car park of Tesco in Fullbridge.

“There were no complaints regarding any antisocial behaviour related to trick or treating.

“I am hopeful that 2012 will prove to be equally respectful.

“However, if anyone does have any problems I would urge the public to call the police if they are at all concerned throughout the evening.”

Looks like the police person in the picture has got their mask on already.
