A NUMBER of drain covers worth £3,000 were stolen between May 7 and 8 in Mundon Road, Maldon.
Ray Stannard, crime reduction officer for Maldon, has appealed for anyone who sees any unusual vehicles parked on the road side to take down the details and call Maldon police on 01621 852255.
