Oz medals for swimmer Hannah
A MALDONIAN swimmer travelled half-way around the world to represent her country - and came back carrying a clutch of medals.
Hannah Ueckerman, who swims for the Witham Dolphins Masters' Club, returned from the World Masters' Swimming Championships in Perth, Australia, with three medals and a personal best to boot.
Swimming breaststroke in the 45 and above age-group, Ueckerman took silver in the 200 metres, notching up her fastest ever time in the process.
Against a tough field, she also brought back a bronze from the 100m breaststroke and came a creditable seventh place in the 50m event as well.
