Wanted - homes for new trees

DO you know of an open space on which a new generation of trees could be planted?

Essex County Council has vowed to plant 250,000 new tress in the county - and Burnham has already asked for a dozen to be located in Maldon Road.

At Burnham's Annual Town Meeting, on Wednesday April 30, residents were urged to contact the town council on 01621 783426 if they have any other suggestions.

EEEErrrr….. How about the top field in the country park full of weeds! Or maybe plant a few along the quay to offer a bit of shade in the summer (when/if they mature).
