It has been announced the skies
around Mersea Island are to become
a stacking area for aircraft coming
into London airports.
Can we be sure this will not prejudice
the effective monitoring of the
air exclusion zone around the Bradwell
nuclear power station?
Some marshes in Essex are still
being used as a dumping ground for
London's rubbish, as the seas were
earlier for its sewage.
Why should the tranquillity of the
Essex Marshes be disturbed to be
another "dumping ground" - this
time for London's noise?
For anyone interested in seeing the real changes, take a look at www.nats.co.uk There are interactive maps that show the changes, my impression is that we wouldn't notice a difference as there is already stacking for Heathrow at 3000 ft and London city also at 3000ft
If however you are only interested in having a moan about something you reckon may affect you and your house price, then it won't be for you.
