Were you a pupil at Burnham County Sch-ool in the 1950s and do you remember these teachers?
Standard reader John Butcher, now living in New Zealand, sent us this photograph, below, of the teachers at the school, taken in about 1952-3.
They are: back row, left to right, Jack Hosegood, Norah Head, name unknown, Pamela Kenchington, Mrs Jeffries, Betty Williams, Miss Browning, Harold Purnell and Phillip Larkham; front row, left to right, Josh Edwards, Norah Cole, Gordon Ambrose, CE Jeffries (headmaster), Margery Jackson, John Furlough, Betty Moss and Charlie Sains.
