Kyla is back with blues


THE daughter of Seventies blues legend Victor Brox makes a return to the New Crawdaddy Blues Club Kyla Brox brings a heady mix of moody, classic blues and funky, riff-driven songs when she is joined by her band for tomorrow’s show.

Hailing from Manchester, Kyla grew up listening to her dad, a favourite of both Jimi Hendrix and Tina Turner.

At the age of 12 her dreams became reality when she started performing in her father’s band, the Victor Brox Blues Train.

The Kyla Brox Band have recorded five albums and their latest release, Grey Sky Blue, features the guitar skills of Kyla’s song writing partner Danny Blomeley.

Doors to the club at the Belvedere, in Harding Elms Road, Crays Hill, open at 8.15pm. Admission is £8.
