Laid-back r‘n’b is cue for smokey vocals

FIFTIES R’n’B gets an outing tomorrow night when Big Mamma’s Door play the New Crawdaddy Blues Club.

Led by the smokey, laid-back vocals of Fiona McElroy, the band have been making a name for themselves at the Ain’t Nothing But The...Blues Bar, in London’s Soho, where they started jamming at the Monday sessions.

Fiona is backed by Mal Barclay on guitar, Joe Glossop on keys and drummer Rob Pokorny, for the band’s debut performance at the club, in the Belvedere, Hardings Elm Road, Crays Hill.

Support comes from resident band the Heaters.

Doors open at 8.15pm and entry is £7.
